Improved washing and grading facilities 2023

Starting with the 2023 harvest we will be able to wash and optically sort carrots, parsnips, potatoes and swedes.

‘Dirty’ optical sorting of potatoes can also be carried out. This will enable us to deliver a graded, but unwashed crop, direct to pack-house.

It will also help extended the shelf life of our potatoes and greatly reduce our carbon footprint.
